Force Protectant FAQ’s and tips continued...

Will it hurt painted surfaces – Force Protectant will not hurt the painted, metal or glass surfaces.  Any product over sprayed or over applied to these surfaces should just be wiped away.  The protectant can only penetrate porous materials such as rubber, vinyl and plastics.  This product will leave a shine so test the use on dull or matte finishes.  Always test on any surface you are not sure about application, including all textured surfaces.

Can it be used in direct sunlight? – Yes! The unique characteristics of Force Protectant allow the product to be used in direct sunlight.  Use in direct sunlight can cause more product to be used due to evaporation.

Does the ambient temperature matter? – Probably Not!  Force Protectant can be used in colder temperatures and it works in the summer hot months too!  Caution should be used in very hot weather to avoid wasting the product.  If you spray Force Protectant on to the surface, and it immediately dries or evaporates, you should move the vehicle into the shade and allow it to cool before continuing to use protectant.

Does Force Protectant remove heavy dirt and mud? – No!  When heavy mud and soil are present, the mud and soil should be removed using a product such as our Dynamic Cleaner before applying the protectant.

Force Protectant can be used anywhere?  No, we strongly recommend not using Force Protectant on moving belts in the engine compartment.  This could possibly cause belt slippage. Never apply to the vehicles brakes.

Force Protectant is not only for automotive vehicles? – Force Protectant can be used on any type of vehicle including boats, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and even off-road vehicles. The applications are endless and give countless opportunities for both the detailing professional and enthusiasts to keeping the world’s vehicles looking perfect.

A few words about microfiber towels:  Using clean towels is the key to any detailing project.  If you drop the towel, or it gets contaminated in any way, do not use it until it has been properly washed following the manufacturer’s directions.  Clean “stained” towels should be used on heavy dirt areas such as wheels, wheel wells, under carriage and engine compartments.  New looking “clean” towels should always be used on painted, chrome and glass surfaces.  You cannot have too many towels when detailing automobiles.

Are all microfiber towels the same? – Absolutely not!  We strongly recommend using our Force Towels with Force Protectant.  There are literally hundreds of different types, sizes, colors and materials that microfiber towels are made from.  We have tested just about every one of them.  Our Force towels are the only towel we have used that works the most efficiently and effectively with our Force Protectant.
Remember, we *guarantee it!

*Force Protectant Guarantee:  If you are not satisfied with the Force Protectant product after you have used it, return to us the remaining unused product in its original bottle, the bottle sprayer, the Force towels you used with the Protectant (use of any other microfiber towels can void the guarantee), a copy of your original sales invoice and a statement stating why you were not satisfied with the product.  Please do not wash or clean the Force Towels.  They should be returned in their “used” condition.  Please remove the sprayer from the product bottle before returning the product and tightly place the shipping lid back on to the product bottle.  We are not responsible for “leaking” returned product bottles.  We will refund you the original cost of the Force Protectant (prorated for any excessive amount used) and the original cost of the Force Towels and any unused product(s).  We will not pay for the return shipping cost of the products.
